Abstract
Professor of philosophy at Calvin and program director of the 'Values & Virtues in Contemporary China' global initiative 2010-2013. Author of numerous books including Philosophers Who Believe and The Story of Ethics. With the number of Christians in China possibly outnumbering the members of the Communist Party, the Party senses an increasing political threat posed by religion, yet China’s constitution guarante es freedom of religion. Professor Clark will help us understand China’s religious contradictions.
