Abstract

Since not everyone knows that the first person John Calvin saw when he entered Heaven was Socrates, I offer the world a report of the conversation that took place at that time between them. It is not a truly Socratic dialog, and for this reason it may be doubted whether this was the real Socrates. It may also be doubted whether this was the real Calvin. Perhaps it was another man by the same name. Which of the two wrote the Institutes is a matéer for. scholarly squabble.
