Abstract

Dr. Storkey explores the political significance of Jesus which emerges from the Gospels. His work and studies have confirmed to him that Jesus is the most important politi cal figure in world history and that the political content of the Gospel texts is often both severely understated and superficially seen.

Dr. Storkey has worked for several decades in the disciplines of politics, sociology and economics. He co-founde d the Movement for Christian Democracy, based in Great Britain, and has taught for twenty years at Oak HIll Theological College in London.
