Abstract

The Rev. Dr. Robert Edgar, General Secretary of the National Council of Churches of Christ, presented the eighth annual Paul B. Henry Lecture on Faith and Politics: "Th e State of the World as Seen Through the Eyes of the Church." Dr. Edgar has headed the NCCC since January of 2000; was a six-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives (D-PA), and is an ordained elder in the Methodist church and known activist, educator and Christian.
