Abstract
Dubbed 'the Elvis of cultural theory' by The Chronicle of Higher Education, Zizek's current work interrogates the Christian tradition and argues that it is, in fact, worth saving. While his lecture will certainly propose a reading of Christianity that is both decidedly non-western and non-orthodox, Zizek's perspective on Christianity as a intellectual from Eastern Europe and an atheist philosopher is sure to bring ide as that will be both provocative and stimulating.
