Abstract
Women have been thoughtful readers of scripture throughout the ages, yet the history of interpretation has not included their voices. Prof. Taylor will introduce us to the treasures that are discovered when we seek to uncover these forgotten writings. Authors such as Harriet Beecher Stowe, Christina Rossetti, Josephine Butler, Grace Aquilar and many others have much to teach us about the Bible. Marion Taylor is Professor of Old Testament at Wycliffe College, Toronto School of Theology.
