Abstract
James Bratt (History and Director of the CCCS) and Karin Maag (History and Director of the Meeter Center) discuss the impact that John Calvin's social and economic thought had in his own time as well as in later centuries around the globe. These are the questions addressed in the newly published volume, "John Calvin Rediscovered: The Impact of His Social and Economic Thought" (Westminster John Knox), co-edited by Jim Bratt and Edward Dommen, an emeritus economist of sustainable development who worked for the United Nations and World Council of Churches.
