Abstract
Abraham Kuyper, the founder of Amsterdam’s Free University and the Dutch prime minister from 1901 to 1905, was a scholar deeply involved in politics both as a thinker and practitioner. Professor of history James Bratt highlights a few key points of Kuyper’s political philosophy, practice, strategy and tactics, drawing some comparisons with religiously inspired politics in American history.
