Abstract
Jenell Williams Paris examines some powerful cultural myths about sex, and how they lead to distorted expectations for marriage and intimacy. Jenell Williams Paris is pr ofessor of anthropology and sociology at Messiah College in Grantham, PA. She teaches, writes, and speaks on issues of sexuality and gender in Christian perspective. Jenell has published many articles and books, including "Urban Disciples: A Beginner 's Guide to Serving God in the City" and "Birth Control for Christians: Making Wise Choices."
