Abstract
Not only is there a theological rationale for Christians to engage in the arts and music, but there is a Biblical mandate. In this session Pedulla invites participants to consider the innate human need for symbols, stories and the arts by exploring a basic theology of the arts and how the scriptures show us that we need art not only to be whole, but to understand the fullness of God's character. Participants will also listen to a couple great rock and roll tunes that might have something to say to us (and that Pedulla thinks God might like).
