Abstract
When we think of sex-trafficking, we usually assume it's taking place in other countries, not here. However, there's a large and growing problem in the U.S., in Michigan, an d right here in Grand Rapids. Mary Dekker and Anthony Bender, local volunteers with the faith-based non-profit Project Liberty, will speak about the issues involved, and the efforts of the Project Liberty task force to rescue victims of trafficking locall y, to educate the public, and seek ways to stop the demand.
