I received your special delivery letter this [noon] while I was at the [table] about 12/30 and your other letter (Friday letter) this P.M. when I returned from down town a little before six o'clock. I am anxious to hear from you to know how you stood the cold etc. I trust [men] [Greek lettering] I tried to buy you some ear protectors tonight but they did not have them in the men's [finish] clothing stores. They said they did not carry them in stock. It seems queer to me but I suppose men who want them wear caps that can be turned so as to protect their ears. Perhaps we I I looked in the S R Catalog and they do no have them. I am sorry. I am going to send you some jumbo peanuts and candy tomorrow. The letter you wrote me last Tuesday 1/8/18 at 6:10 P.M. was mailed or post marked Jan 10. Perhaps
