Nationally, STEM majors have lower retention and graduation rates compared to the average of all majors. This is a problem that Calvin struggles with as well:
- 79.6% 2012-2017 retention rate STEM
- 86.4% 2012-2017 retention rate overall
- 54.7% 2009-2011 ave. 6-year graduation rate in STEM
- 73.9% 2009-2011 ave. 6-year graduation rate overall
