Description
This summer was a continuation of a long-term study that began in 2008. Each year, students have lived at the preserve and over 10 weeks in the summer they track the flowering period of native plants that are growing there. . The goal of this study is to investigate the possible effects of climate change on the flowering period of plants in West Michigan. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the research period was reduced to 8 weeks; however quality data were still collected.
