Description
The intent of this project is to use three main datasets (Ground Penetrating Radar lines, a single hand-auger boring carried out by the research team, and a series of hand auger borings done on the Commons Lawn area for the purposes of construction consulting) to investigate what sedimentary units could be identified on Calvin’s campus, and how the identified units fit into a broader picture of known sedimentary processes in West Michigan, with a particular emphasis placed on the glacial history of the area.
