Abstract

As I think about Emmanuel, God with us, this Advent, I’m comforted that even when my circumstances change, those I love are hurting, and the stresses of life threaten to overwhelm me, Emmanuel does not change. He is the same forever. Emmanuel is everywhere, always, and forever. God with us is a reminder that even when circumstances change and all seems hopeless, there is always hope because God is with us. I thank God for being with me constantly and consistently, both now and forever.
