Stormwater runoff is an increasing problem in developing cities and nations Solution: Detention Ponds, Rain Gardens & Permeable parking lots Detention Ponds detain water and release water at a controlled rate which reduces stormwater runoff, but discussions of increasing the effectiveness of a detention pond by incorporating green infrastructure is often in consideration. This research aims to study the effects of having a fully vegetative detention pond with varying native plant species
